In 2018, I decided I wanted to commit to doing a drawing challenge. I was too late to join The 100 Day Project but I didn’t want to have to wait until it started again in 2019, so I started at my own pace. I picked up some small Moleskine cahier sketchbooks and expanded my Posca pen collection and set to work.

I had attempted such challenges before but I get easily bored so I decided to keep this challenge quite wide and called it the 100 days of drawing. It was a lot of fun to experiment with a limited medium and colour palette and I think I got better as the days went by. I’ve never been very disciplined when it comes to my art so it was nice to dedicate an hour or so to drawing each day and I hope it’s a new tradition I continue.
